We use this in our small studio to pull reference clips from commercial Blu-rays for mood boards and client presentations. We ran into an issue with a very specific European disc that wouldn't rip. I emailed iFunia support not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. They responded within a few hours, asked for a specific log file, and within 48 hours, they sent me a test build of the software that fixed the issue. The fact that they provide active, personalized support for a relatively affordable product is incredible. Great software backed by a great team.

I needed to digitize my Blu-ray documentaries for editing in Final Cut Pro, and iFunia Blu-ray Ripper did the job well. It even kept the 5.1 surround sound intact. The only minor downside is that ripping large Blu-rays can take a while, but that’s expected with high-quality output. Overall, very reliable on macOS Sonoma.

Finally found a Blu-ray ripper that works perfectly on my M2 MacBook Pro. The app is intuitive – I just drag the Blu-ray folder in, choose the output format, and it does the rest. I like that it can directly convert to formats optimized for iPhone and Apple TV, so I don’t have to guess the settings. Definitely worth it.

I've tried with several blu-rays, it can only load a part of them, when i dragged some blu-rays from my macOS 15.2, app tries to decode, then window pops up saying "Failed to load dvd". Seems to work on a certain blu-rays, and the converted videos have a good quality.

Overall, I enjoyed ripping with this blu-ray ripper. It has a straightforward interface and converts fast, most of my blu-ray DVDs can be converted successfully.
