If you have kids, or restless adults, who are destined to be trapped in a car for a long ride, you know movies are the answer to keeping everyone happy. iPad of course is a good portable player for watching movies, but if you got more people in a car, play iPad movies on your car’s media player may be a better choice. Here’s some tips to do this:

1. For Car Player which Support USB External Hard Drive

If your car has a USB external hard drive port that connects to it’s media player, you can directly connect your iPad to the car via USB. Most car players now allow you to directly play your music or movies on your devices.

2. Use Third Party Car Players

But if your car’s player doesn’t support USB external hard drive and you don’t care much about money, you can advance it with some available car players. This kind of car player normally costs over $300.00. If you’d like to have a change, make sure the one you will purchase supports iPad connection – some of those car players only support iPod via adapters for music entertainment.

3. Play iPad movies on the car DVD player

But for most of us we just want to be able to watching our movies in our cars without forking over ~$300+. I went through the above method and ended up with my third choice – create a DVD with your own iPad movies. That’s not a tough task. There are numerous DVD creators in the market for you to burn DVDs.
