Download iFunia YouTube Converter for Mac and install it on Mac.

To install it, simply mount the .dmg archive by double-clicking it, and copy the application to your applications folder (or wherever you want).

Part 1: How to download videos from video sharing websites

Go to the YouTube website and select the YouTube video you want to watch. After that you can adopt one of the following ways to download the YouTube video

1) Go to the "Downloads" menu and choose "Add URL". Then you can copy and paste the URL and click "OK".

2) Directly drag and drop the URL to the interface of the YouTube Converter.

Part 2: How to convert the downloaded or existing FLV videos to other video format

After the program finished downloading the YouTube videos, it will automatically switch to the converting mode, you only need to click the "Convert" button to start the converting process, for local FLV videos, just locate your FLV video file and drag & drop it to the converting panel.

You can choose the target video format and where to save the output files. You should find the format or device you need in the settings drop-down list and the place to save output files. And then click "OK".

Note: If you don't know much about video formats, you can select a format according to the name of your portable player. For example, you can select "iPad H.264 Video(*.mp4)" when you want to convert medias for iPad, and the default setting works great. You can also change the output settings as you need. Remember that the output file size mostly depends on the Bitrate you set. Larger Bitrate, larger file size.

Please make sure that your Internet is connected to YouTube website and the URLs of YouTube videos are correct.

2. How to download 4k YouTube videos?

Go to the YouTube website and select the YouTube 4K video you want to watch. Click 360P to drop-down the menu then copy the YouTube 4K video URL to the program.
