How to import/convert M2TS MTS to iDVD on Mac?
"OK, guys currently i have alot of AVCHD mts mts videos, and i need to import to iDVD so that I can burn the movies into DVD. iDVD reads the mts files but my sound freezes up and gets cut like every second, idk why, and another question is what format do most iDVD read, i want to keep the quality high at least 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 if possible."
iDVD is a free program on Mac OS for burning movies into DVD, which supports common videos like mov, mpeg-4, h.264, dv, mpeg, m4v, 3gp, that means the QuickTime supported video files. But for High Definition video, such as AVCHD, mts, m2ts, ts, tp, trp, m2t, hdv, iDVD couldn't handle well. If your HD camcorder is compatible with iDVD, you can simply connect your camcorder to Mac and set it to CTR, VCR, or play mode, and Open iDVD and click "OneStep DVD", then insert a DVD disc into your Mac SuperDrive and let iDVD do the rest for you. But If iDVD cannot recognize your HD camcorder, you need to convert your MTS/M2TS to iDVD with this professional iFunia AVCHD Converter for Mac, which will maximally preserve the quality of your original MTS/M2TS clips.

Step 2. Set the output format as HD MP4 and set other settings as you like.
