Apple has released the final beta of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion to developers. signaling that the company is close to the final release of the next version of OS X. At last months keynote, at WWDC 2012, Apple announced that Mountain Lion would be released sometime in July, so it looks like they are right on schedule. There is no change log for the GM, but we can assume almost all the new features are included in this release.

Mountain Lion boasts a host of improvements and new features, including deeper integration with Apple’s iCloud service, AirPlay mirroring, and Facebook integration.

In all, Apple is touting 200 new features in the $19.99 upgrade, so there will certainly be plenty to go over when it hits later this month. With the GM in the wild, it’s only a matter days before it hits consumer hands.
